Today, the SIB began training field supervisors for the 2022 Population and Housing Census. The two-and-a-half-week training will take place in each of the country’s nine municipalities (except Benque Viejo Town). During this period, 137 field supervisors will receive extensive training on the Census questionnaire and the various computer applications developed for the Census. The training also includes a one-day field practice exercise in all districts, scheduled for Friday, April 1st.
Census Day for the 2022 Population and Housing Census will be observed on May 12th, and data collection will commence the following day, May 13th, for ten weeks. Data will be collected on all buildings and their usual occupants throughout this period. The Institute invites the public to participate in the Census by responding to questionnaires administered by trained enumerators.
