CANCELLATION OF SCHEDULED PRESS CONFERENCE

BELMOPAN CITY, BELIZE, June 23, 2025 – The Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB) announces the cancellation of the press conference originally scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

This decision comes after the recent tragic incident involving the family of our Deputy Director-General. Out of respect for the privacy and grieving process of those affected, we kindly request understanding and discretion during this difficult time.

Although this cancellation has occurred, the Institute will ensure that all scheduled press bulletins and their corresponding data tables are uploaded to our official website (www.sib.org.bz) and sent to our subscribers via email as previously planned.
