The proper conduct and implementation of the 2022 Census is supervised and directed by the Director-General of SIB acting in the role of the Census Officer. A Census Management Committee drawn from SIB managers form the chief decision making and executive body for the implementation of the census and all decisions must be approved by this committee. Valued input and advice into the entire census project is provided by a Census Advisory Committee made up of senior officers from the main stakeholder institutions.
